Illustration: Absa Sponsorship TVC
So, KEITH ROSE, yes, KEITH ROSE, tracked me down because of my Kopanya illustrations and wanted me to do a mural for a TV ad he was directing. Wah! Many late nights and blurred vision on this one. It's the soccer mural (a digital illustration popped in during post). The second TV ad which focuses on the mural will be up as soon as it's flighted :)

Tee Design for Food and Trees
This was a design I did for Food and Tree's Arbor Day event broadcast live on 702 Talk Radio. The amount of time I had to do this made my sphincter shrink but I think it came out quite well, especially seeing as there was a two-colour limit. The option they went for is below.

So I've started Something Little...
Yes, obsessed with doodling and making stuff, I've started a new brand called "Something Little." It's jewellery based on my doodles. Below is an example.
It's in two stores at the moment - one in Bloemfontein and the other in Melville - and has appeared in several blogs and the Voila magazine. Yay! Now, if only I had more time to focus on it...

Threadless T-shirt design: Your thoughts are not your own
Please vote for me! *Big puppy eyes*
This is inspired by a chat I had with a good friend of mine. We were remarking on all the influences that shape our thoughts and how our own thoughts are perhaps not entirely our own. It's scary. Ooh... Shudder.

Commercial artwork
Some commercial work I've done... clients include The Windmill Casino in Bloemfontein, The Gypsy Lounge restaurant at the Blubird centre and a private client. Other work and my personal stuff is on my other blog, tracey-lauren.blogspot.com. Yes, I might be slightly schizophrenic :)
Illustration: Ace packs for TBWA\Hunt\Lascaris
Just an illustration I did for Ace mielie meal. It was a pack of cards with different illustrators doing each house/set. Eish... I don't know my card terminology.

Advertorial: IEC

We were briefed to create an advertorial in a Grade 9 Maths booklet for the IEC. We figured we'd put in a kid's terms. Illustration was mainly done by my lovely art director, Natalie Leroux, but I helped too.
The copy reads:
Freedom is not just being able to get into that club or being able to live without your parents hassling you. Freedom is not just being free from homework and chores. It's not just being able to listen to music your parents hate or being able to wear your shirt untucked.
Freedom is about making decisions for yourself. It's deciding to make South Africa the country you want it to be. It's deciding to vote. And this is why the IEC exists - to make sure everyone is free to be heard.

Illustration: Adidas Kopanya - 13 Cannes shortlists and Creative Circle Ad of the Month May 2009
The Adidas Kopanya Campaign for TBWA/Hunt/Lascaris ran in South Africa, Egypt and Spain. I painted all jerseys and boots as well as Pienaar, Messi, Silva and Villa. It has been shortlisted for Cannes, was a finalist for the One Show awards and was the Creative Circle's Ad of the Month for May 2009.
